**About the role**
Our Corridor Maintenance North team currently have a permanent vacancy for a Facilities Maintainer. Based out of Sunshine, you will work as part of a team to conduct corridor vegetation control and grounds maintenance as well as the installation, maintenance, repair and construction of Queensland Rail Facilities.

**Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include**:

- Be present for daily briefings including important safety information
- Use of a work tablets to review and complete work orders
- Complete mowing, hedging, whipper snipping and various other vegetation control management
- Perform fencing repairs, graffiti cleaning and waste removal when required
- Travel between sites across North Brisbane

**About you**
- Previous experience of conducting vegetation control including the use of whipper-snippers, mowers and chainsaws
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
