**About Shared Services**:
Based at the Repatriation Campus of Austin Health, the HR Shared Services department is a well-regarded enablement function, consisting of teams that provide accurate and efficient HR services across the organisation. With a focus on service excellence and customer-centricity, the HRSS teams work collaboratively together and with the broader People & Culture function to support employees and managers through the employee life cycle.
**About the role**:
As the HR Systems Manager you will provide leadership to a small team of technical experts, and engage with directorates to ensure that reporting and analytics provide sound basis for business decision making. You’ll partner with IT and software vendors to ensure seamless technical support of HR systems, and undertake management of projects throughout HR Shared Services. You’ll also fulfil a key leadership role within the HR Shared Services function.
A regular day will see you:
- Lead the delivery of an efficient, end-user centric HR information service, ensuring appropriate quality assurance processes are in place
- Communicate with key stakeholders at Austin Health to ensure they are kept abreast of changes to processes and practices within HR Systems
- Oversee access management of Kronos, Chris 21, Mercury and other HR systems
- Ensure all HR Systems staff are provided with clear delegation of responsibilities and build a culture that has excellent customer service at its core
**About you**:
You will have highly developed leadership skills and team building ability, with strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work constructively to define and address a wide range of HR issues, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
You’ll further have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with sound technical understanding of CHRIS21/Kronos
- Strong project management experience
- An understanding of general Human Resources issues and employment related legislation
- The ability to develop and maintain processes relevant to HR Systems and Employment
