**Public Sector People (PSP) **are currently looking to speak to a
**HR Systems & Analytics Officer **who would be interested in an initial 3-month contract within Local Government.
- _As soon as possible start date _
- _3-month contract with the potential to extend due to predicted upcoming workload _
- _Inner Melbourne suburb location _
- _Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in the office & 2 days from home) _
- _$50 - $60 an hour + super _
- _MUST have PowerBi knowledge and experience_
This is an initial 3-month temporary position to assist the team with the high workload due to internal secondments/ movement. This Council has a mandatory 3 days in the office arrangement, and this will be expected of any contractor joining the team.
You will be the System Administrator for the HR System and are responsible for data management, workforce profile management, workflows, system administration, workforce reporting and analytics.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead systems and workflow reviews for all HR processes to develop to achieve consistency, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- Provide HR system and analytics advice, reporting, and analysis to the People Culture team.
- Develop and implement enhancement and automation to HR administration processes, data integrity and record management.
- Develop and implement appropriate documentation (including forms, templates, communications, and reports).
- Assist with day-to-day and longer-term strategic activities relating to the maintenance, administration, improvement and review of People, Culture and Safety HRM systems.

The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:
- Relevant Tertiary qualification and/or experience working in a similar HR System Administrator role.
- MUST have experience and a strong knowledge of PowerBi for reporting and analysis.
- Experience in the development and management of HR systems. Experience planning implementing a HCM system would be an advantage.
- High level of initiative, ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
- Demonstrated project management skills
