We are looking for a hands-on, dynamic and experienced leader to join Lime in an **Operational Lead** role in Brisbane As an Operational Lead, you will enhance our fleet, coordinate our teams in the field, and be the local eyes and ears on the ground to understand the local needs of our riders across the city of Brisbane.

The Operational Lead is responsible for overseeing the smooth running of all Lime activities run external to Lime’s Coorparoo Warehouse in Brisbane. They provide the vital link between operational staff and the Lime Management team.

This position will also aid in rostering, and setting zones and tasks for daily operations - anticipating bottlenecks and adjusting operations to suit a dynamic work environment. They will also, at times, undertake any of the roles of an Operations Specialist, which includes assisting with the deployment of Lime’s e-Bike and e-Scooters to locations across Brisbane, swapping batteries and providing customer service to the general public. This role will also provide assistance in training and developing new and existing staff in that role.

You will tackle challenges along our operational journey from the moment a vehicle leaves our warehouse and is then used by the warehouse. This role is a great opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping the future of Lime’s mobility in Brisbane.

**Hours of work**:
This is a role that operates Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm. The team you’ll be coordinating typically work various shifts, such as 8am - 4pm or 7am - 4pm. So there may be times where your ordinary work hours may need to be flexible.

**Remuneration**:
This is a casual role with the opportunity to grow with Lime.
The starting rate will be $33 per hour + superannuation.

**Responsibilities & tasks**:

- Hire, train, and provide coaching to all levels of Operations Specialists and Fleet Support positions responsible for deploying and retrieving our shared electric vehicles across Brisbane.
- Build a safe, compliant and efficient operations for vehicle deployment and retrieval
- Define new processes and best practices to drive operational excellence within the team.
- Aid in induction and upskilling of new staff, and development of existing staff
- Help the team of Operations Specialists and the Foot Patrols work towards a common goal
- Provide complaint management and customer incidents investigation support
- Maintain positive relationships between customers, regulators/city officials, employees, and Lime management team and staff members in the field

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Experience leading teams or groups preferred
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions at times (safety permitting)
- Fit and active - able to lift 30kgs frequently across an 8 hour shift at times
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and interact with the public
- High-energy and sound decision maker with the ability think on your feet
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Valid full drivers licence (21+ years of age for insurance purposes) and acceptable Driving Record
- Great attitude and collaboration skills - teamwork is the key to success

Pay: $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
