**THE ROLE**:
The Program Management and Corporate Support team plays an important operational and strategic role by partnering with leaders across the Taskforce, within Austrade and with partnering agencies to achieve the organisational goals. The Recruitment Officer will be part of a small high performing team delivering.
- Program Assurance through process and compliance verification and validation

The Recruitment Officer is responsible for supporting the Taskforce to recruit, sustain and retain its workforce needs. In the provision of recruitment services, you will deliver high quality client services, supporting managers with the recruitment processes, manage job packs and identify process improvement opportunities. You will have demonstrated experience in recruitment administration, have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, be enthusiastic and work successfully in a small team environment.

**Duties include**:
The Recruitment Officer role is an individual support role within the Simplified Trade Systems (STS) Taskforce reporting to the Assistant Director (AD) Program Workforce and supports the Director, PMO & Corporate Support. Under general direction of the AD Program Workforce, the duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

- Leading and/or supporting end-to-end recruitment activities including advice on contemporary and best practice recruitment solutions.
- Support the development and delivery of the STS Taskforce induction program to new staff members.
- Manage the STS onboarding process for new staff members and support Managers to ensure a seamless induction into the Taskforce.
- Communicate effectively and develop and maintain productive working relationships, both internally and externally.
- Actively participate in a variety of projects to achieve results within short timeframes and under pressure in an operational environment.
- Work effectively both with a team and autonomously and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Assist the team to produce team, branch, and strategic outcomes.
