About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for accurate and timely processing and recording of all wages, processing payroll transactions into our accounting system, and reconciling between the Payroll System, General Ledger and PAYG payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely processing and recording of all wages
- Processing payroll transactions into our accounting system
- Inter-store charging for employees working in multiple locations
- Reconciling between the Payroll System, General Ledger and PAYG payments
- Maintenance of payroll records
- Ensuring source documents such as leave requests, employee declarations and tax declarations are maintained
- Maintaining time and attendance system
- Processing superannuation
- Year end and statutory obligations
- Assist stores with payroll enquiries
- Adhoc accounting activities as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years payroll experience
- Experience using multi-entities
- Competent with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work autonomously
