Due to our rapid growth and recent expansion into Brisbane, we are seeking an experienced **Accommodation & Care Manager** to join our amazing team. Reporting to the Operations Manager and managing Supported Independent Living, Supported Disability Accommodation sites and NDIS Home Care participants across Brisbane, this newly created role will be responsible for the overseeing the operations of each site and managing a portfolio of Home Care clients. You will have the pleasure of being our first Brisbane-based employee
**_ In this role, you will find yourself:_**
- Managing NDIS applicants and engaging with residents, their families and supports to connect them with accommodation options and home care services.
- Managing the end-to-end onboarding and welcoming of new participants.
- Participating in the activation of new accommodation sites.
- Managing NDIS budgets, support plans and ensuring services are positioned in accordance with the participants NDIS plan and care needs.
- Providing coaching, guidance and mentoring to a team of Disability Support Workers.
- Ensuring services are delivered with accordance to best practice and high quality standards.
- Qualifications in Health, Disability, Aged Care or Community Care.
- Previous experience in accommodation management or related roles.
- Previous experience managing clients/residents with complex psychological support needs.
- Understanding of the NDIS, especially accommodation services.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- A friendly and warm persona, with a high degree of patience and resilience.
- Current and valid Driver’s Licence is essential, as frequent road-based travel is required.
