Randstad is looking for an Area Manager in Oxley, Brisbane

This dynamic and essential role with our client focuses on ensuring and maintaining high standards of care, supporting team members, and upholding our clientâs core values. As the Area Manager, you will lead a team of field staff, delivering services to clients in their homes. You will play a key role in training, skill development, and creating a connected and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage and supervise a team of field staff, including recruitment, training, and induction of support workers and nurses.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure field staff are informed, connected, and equipped with up-to-date skills and registrations.
  • Lead efforts to enhance client service delivery and maintain excellent client and family relationships.
  • Monitor staff performance, including skill validation, leave management, and yearly appraisals to recognize achievements and areas for development.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, handle client feedback, and resolve complaints.
  • Foster a positive and unified work environment that reflects our clientâs commitment to exceptional aged care services.
  • Maintaining confidentiality in all dealings with clients and stakeholders.

    Skills & Experience:

    • Proven leadership experience managing remote and large teams in the aged care or healthcare sector.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, conflict resolution, and the ability to inspire and develop team culture.
    • Experience in building strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of aged care quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Passion and commitment to Aged Care and the desire to âmake a differenceâ.
    • Current National Police Clearance
    • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certificate.
    • Current Drivers Licence, Vehicle Registration.
