About the opportunity

In this role you will provide exceptional daily care, supporting the needs of residents to live healthy, enriching and meaningful lives. You’ll get to know your residents and their families very well and take pride in delivering exceptional personalised care according to their needs, to create a true sense of home.
- Provide quality resident-focused care utilising a person-centred approach and in accordance with care plans, Aged Care Standards and policies/procedures of Mercy Health.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation relevant to resident care.
- Work in consultation with other staff to provide relevant and timely information.

What you’ll bring

You’re reliable, resilient and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are genuinely interested in supporting others and making a difference in your community.
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (nursing students encouraged to apply).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate in a team environment and report / document in line with requirements.
- Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care.
- An ability to follow nursing procedures as directed and in line with resident care plans.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

- A current NDIS.
- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
