Emergency Department Nurse

Location: Western New South Wales  Employment Type: Full-Time PERM

Our client is a reputable healthcare facility located in Western New South Wales. They are dedicated to providing exceptional care to their community and are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Emergency Department Nurse to join their dynamic team.

Job Description:

As an Emergency Department Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in their time of need. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your skills, expertise, and compassion will make a significant impact. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing, triaging, and prioritizing patients based on their condition and severity.
  • Administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by the medical team.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitoring and documenting patient progress and vital signs.
  • Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Participating in emergency procedures and interventions as needed.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification with current registration in Australia.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
  • Triage trained
  • Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
