**The Role**

As the People and Capability Business Partner, you will serve as an internal consultant to the organisation on human resources-related issues and needs. You will assess and anticipate HR-related needs, and through collaborative partnerships across the organisation deliver value-added service to our people. The main focus of this role is on supporting Oxfam Australia’s people (both employees, people managers and the Executive); however, you will collaborate with other Oxfam P&C teams from time to time. This is a varied and fast paced role that plays a key role in supporting employees.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Emotional intelligence: High degree of emotional intelligence and humility, and ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders to foster inclusion
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Change management: Experience in advising, guiding, and supporting leaders through effective change management processes
- Operational HR advice: Extensive experience providing timely, clear and reliable HR advice as a generalist - incl. recruitment, performance management, capability development, and grievance resolution
- Business partnering: Established track record as a strategic collaborator, and ability to effectively partner with people leaders and employees

**We can offer you**

A base salary of $111,566.07 plus superannuation, superior leave benefits and access to generous non-for-profit salary packaging program **(up to $18,450 of your salary tax-free)**.**
