**What you'll be doing**

Perform a range of laboratory support services to the clinical trial unit. This includes services for blood collection, specimen collection and tracking, specimen processing in line with protocol required procedures and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment to deliver a patient focused service.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (3 doses for Category A roles, 2 doses for Category B roles) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.

- Certificate III/IV in Pathology Collections.
- Previous experience in pathology services including venepuncture, sample management (collection, processing and shipping) and safe laboratory working procedures.
- Knowledge and skills to perform PBMC sample processing as required or willingness to work toward same.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills preferably in a clinical environment, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers, patients and clinical staff.
- Demonstrated problem solving and trouble shooting skills, with the ability to resolve issues.
- Excellent computer skills including high attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to learn local software as required (MosaiQ, eMR).
- Excellent time management skills.
