**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced People & Culture Manager to join our team in Auburn. Reporting to General Manager, the role will oversee the end-to-end HR service delivery including roster, payroll and workers compensation. The role sits on our Senior Leadership team and will play an instrumental part in the development and implementation of our People & Culture strategies while making a meaningful impact on our employees growth and satisfaction. As well as insuring all HR related activities and processes are aligned with and meet the Aged Care Quality Standard 7.

The role will suit someone who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment is able to flex between strategy and day-to-day tasks. Additionally you will be leading and coaching a small team to deliver HR outcomes.

**Key responsibilities**:

- **Payroll**:Accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with legislative requirements and award conditions
- **Employee Relations**: Handling employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
- **Performance Management**: Developing and implementing performance management processes, such as setting performance objectives, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback and coaching to employees.
- **Compensation and Benefits**: Managing the organization's compensation, leave and benefits program, and ensure alignment with the market offering.
- **Policy Development and Implementation**:Develop and implementation HR policies and procedures in accordance with the organisational needs and accreditation requirements for Aged Care Quality Standard 7.
- **Compliance and Legal Matters**:Ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- **Employee Engagement and Culture**:Developing and implementing initiatives to foster a positive work environment, promote employee engagement, and enhance company culture.
- **Diversity and Inclusion**:Promoting diversity and inclusion within the organization by implementing strategies to attract, retain, and develop a diverse workforce.
- **HR Analytics and Reporting**:Collecting and analyzing HR data to report on key metrics, such as recruitment, employee turnover, leave management, workers compensations to name a few.
- **Workers compensation**:Responsible for coordinating claims with insurance and RTW activities

**About you**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in HR/IR (or progression towards one)
- Atleast 5 years of experience in a similar role involving running payroll
- Exposure to Aged Care/Disability sector is advantageous
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build effective relationships
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office
- Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity
- Up to date COVID and Flu vaccination
