**About Your New Role**
As a Training Manager at DecoRug, you will be a key player in fostering the growth and success of our teams across all stores, franchises, and the Support Office. Your mission will be to develop and deliver comprehensive training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our staff and achieve outstanding business outcomes.

Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, in this hands-on role your responsibilities will include:

- Identifying and addressing current and future training needs for individuals within store teams and Support Office, ensuring their continuous development.
- Designing and developing engaging classroom and virtual training programs, as well as in-store coaching initiatives, to embed learning outcomes.
- Reviewing and updating existing training content, integrating the latest industry trends and best practices, and delivering them through the most effective mediums.
- Coordinating and delivering training across stores in NSW, QLD, VIC, and SA, covering topics ranging from product knowledge to interior design basics, sales skills, and customer experience.
- Forging strong relationships with suppliers to collaborate on joint training initiatives that align with our business objectives.
- Working closely with the Head of People and Culture and Heads of Departments to identify skill and capability gaps and support the realization of DecoRug's ambitious 5-year growth plans.
- Tracking, recording, and reporting on training outcomes, attendance, and compliance metrics to measure the success of training initiatives.

**About You**
- Previous experience in the retail industry, preferably in management and training roles, will be highly advantageous.
- A passion for identifying and maximizing human potential, coupled with a proven track record of delivering substantial uplift in skills, capability, and results.
- Possession of a Certificate IV in Adult Training and Assessment or similar qualification.
- Extensive experience in adult training and coaching, grounded in a deep understanding of adult learning principles.
- Qualifications in Retail or Interior Design will be highly desirable.
- Prior experience in Retail/Sales Training and learning content creation is a plus.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) roll-out projects would be advantageous.
- Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, or similar presentation programs. Graphic design skills and knowledge of basic design programs are highly desirable.
- Willingness and ability to travel between states as required to meet training and coaching needs.
