Syndal Storm is a basketball club based out of the Nunawading Basketball Association in South East Melbourne. Founded in 2018 the club has grown into both junior and senior competitions.

What started out as a senior domestic team on a Sunday afternoon has grown into a club founded on the concept of creating a community and becoming one of the only family oriented clubs, hosting frequents club functions and events to ensure everyone feels like they are part of the Storm family.

We are looking for an Events Coordinator to start as soon as possible in preparation for our upcoming Winter 2023 season.

**Duties & responsibilities include**:

- Assist with the planning of club events such as presentation nights, trivia nights, fundraisers, etc.
- Continuously promote a positive club culture
- Participate in regular committee meetings at Nunawading Basketball Centre
- Attend occasional Storm events if required

**About you**:

- Some experience in event planning or in sports clubs is desirable but not required
- Knowledge of local domestic competitions is highly regarded
- Willingness to learn and help develop a culture-driven young club
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ready to have some fun and be rewarded with the development of eager junior basketball players
