WA Cricket is committed to delivering exceptional experiences for our members, partners, and VIP guests through world-class events and hospitality.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail oriented Event Coordinator to ensure the seamless planning and execution of our VIP Match Day and Members Champions Club events. This role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional experience for all guests, from the initial invitation, theming, to post-event follow-up.

**This is a full time, 6 month contract to commence in September 2024.**

**About the role**
- Develop, prepare, and send formal invitations to guests for Match Day events, ensuring all communications reflect the prestige of the event
- Manage and track guest RSVPs, ensuring accurate records are maintained and any special requests or requirements are noted and accommodated
- Liaise with external vendors and internal teams to ensure all elements of the room setup are delivered and installed on time and meet the desired specifications
- For each event, prepare a detailed run sheet, guest list, and any necessary presentations or videos, ensuring that all event components are well-organized and executed smoothly
- Arrange MC’s and any guest speakers, ensuring they are fully briefed on the event proceedings
- Collaborate closely to develop menus for the events and functions, ensuring that dietary requirements are met and that the culinary offerings align with the event’s theme and guest expectations
- Coordinate the event room theming, which includes audio-visual setup, floral arrangements, furniture layout, and the placement of signage and collateral to create a cohesive and visually appealing environment
- Act as the primary host on the event day, welcoming guests as they arrive, assisting them throughout the event, and ensuring they have a memorable experience.
- Manage the inhouse fulfilment and onboarding of Members Champions Club
- Renew, sell and manage Champions Club related products, including memberships and visitor passes

**Who we are looking for**
- Proven experience in event coordination or hospitality management, preferably within a VIP or corporate setting.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with VIP guests.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creative flair for event theming and design.
