HOBAN Recruitment is currently partnering with a respected **VIC Local Council **in the search for a highly capable individual to join as an **Maternal And Child Health Support Officer **located in **Narre Warren, VIC.**

**What's in it for you**:

- 6 week assignment, contract extension possible

- $44.16 per hour + super (based on experience)
- Located in Narre Warren, VIC
- 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

**About the role**:

- Provide high level customer service to Maternal and Child Health Clients via telephone and face to face channels.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Maternal and Child Health service to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the department.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent customer service in accordance with the council's Customer First principles.
- Respond to and follow up on general telephone and counter enquiries and make appointments for the Maternal & Child Health Service Nurses through the Central Booking Number.
- Undertake administrative tasks within the Maternal and Child Health Service as required including rescheduling Key Ages and Stage (KAS) appointments for individual clients, transferring client files into the MCH database, and allocating KAS appointments
- Provide Maternal and Child Health Nurses with administrative support, including interpreter bookings and centre maintenance as required.
- Maintain adequate supplies of stationery and equipment for the Family & Community Centres including stocks of approved public hand outs and information, ensuring they are neatly displayed and current.
- Perform data entry, maintain database, and document control.
- Respond to enquiries from internal and external customers.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar customer service and / or administration position
- Local government and CDIS experience desired but not essential.
- National Criminal History Check
- Working with Children Check
- Valid Victorian Driver's License
