This is an exciting new opportunity for a resilient and dynamic national sales executive to join a rapidly growing Australian made and owned brand. Your role will be to increase Haymes Paint's market share through having a strong passion for driving new business development, stakeholder engagement through trusting relationships and multi-site project co-ordination.

**About the role**:

- Proactive securing and reporting of a sales pipeline, including new and existing clients, through the identification of business opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships to provide a high level of stakeholder engagement.
- Promoting the marketing of the full Haymes Paint product and services portfolio.
- Customer responsiveness and problem-solving skills to build a loyal customer base and achieve set targets.
- Preparing and negotiating regular business proposals.
- Anticipate project demand requirements and effectively communicate internally, to deliver required outcomes.
- Development of strategic plans to deliver value improvements across pricing, product, and contract management.

**About you**:

- Several years of relevant key account and national business development experience.
- Driven to proactively seek opportunities and track in a measurable CRM pipeline.
- Ability to leverage multiple channels including face-to-face, phone and digital.
- Influence to create valuable and impactful business/client connections, that lead to mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Desire to utilise a diverse product portfolio on a national scale.
- Strong business acumen, with focus on execution of business plans paired with the ability to pivot and share best practices.
- Excitement to gain and take market share from Goliath (larger corporate competitors)
- Proficient in the completion of EOI and RFQ documentation
- Willingness and flexibility to work outside typical business hours and travel where required.
- Enthusiasm to join an Australian made and owned organisation that cares for its business and culture.
- An unencumbered driver's licence and the ability for regular domestic travel

**Desirable**:

- Background in communications, design, construction materials or site management
- A tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrable experience with Salesforce, Oracle, or another CRM platform
