PRISM Sport and Entertainment are the specialist sponsorship and sports marketing division of GroupM and WPP that sit within MediaCom Australia and New Zealand
Team PRISM’s ethos is predicated on building true partnerships with our clients by immersing our people deeper within their business than ever before. By expanding our horizons, and further interrogating our client’s business challenges, we can unlock the potential to deliver broader business solutions that live outside of pure media - ultimately driving us towards the company vision.
As a Sports Account Manager, you are responsible for having a deep understanding of your client’s business and challenges and have the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects, relationships and stakeholders at the same time.
**What will make you stand out**
- Expert sponsorship advice - advise Clients and partner Agencies on best use of sponsorship assets and work alongside agencies to bring these to life
- Ideation and proposing projects to clients to leverage and amplify sponsorships (at-match activations)
- Brand immersion and ability to understand brand objectives and KPI’s to hit through sponsorship
- Managing and delegating between Account Service team ensuring each staff member is empowered with their own autonomous tasks - acting as the advisor, counsel and support for expert Client results
- Manage Agency landscape (Media, Creative, PR, Digital etc.), ensuring all elements of the sponsorship are directed correctly to relevant partner Agency - act as funnel out to correct Agency representatives, and into the Rights Holder
- Work with Sports Partnership Lead and Managing Director on business reporting, finance and top line account summaries (point of escalation

- Confident communicator (ability to adequately represent and communicate different interests to different audiences)
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Multi-stakeholder management (entertain divergent prospective and represent Client and Rights Holders best interests between varying environments i.e., mange Clients expectations with Rights Holder and vice versa)
- Ability to work autonomously and flexibly (some night time and weekends hours required)
- People management
- Microsoft suite (excel and PowerPoint in particular)
- Presentation and reporting capabilities
- Brand prowess, ability to grasp brand objectives and bring to life through sponsorships
- Brand experience and/or Agency landscape experience (need to understand Agency ecosystem)
