**About you**
- You have 3+ years' experience writing and editing technical content
- Tertiary degree (Bachelor or above) e.g. Journalism, Publishing, Media & Communications, Marketing, Law or equivalent
- Excellent command of the English language and high-quality writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint/Teams and InDesign (desirable)
- Experience leading content development of compliant and customer-focused submissions in the public transport sector
- A self-starter with high energy levels, tenacity, initiative and a willingness to commit whatever it takes to deliver the required results.

**The opportunity**

In your new role as Bid Writer, reporting directly to the Head of Tenders, you will be responsible for contributing to Kinetic's strategy and mission through the provision of expert bid content development to pursue and achieve Kinetic’s ambitious growth plan. You will:

- Assist with content development of bids and proposals during the planning, delivery and post submission phases
- Work with the Head of Tenders to coordinate bid strategy workshops, develop win themes and key messages
- Implement bid development processes tailored to each client requirements including responsibility matrix, style guide and template documents.
- Coordinate with the Graphic Design team to develop graphics, bid documents and branding
- Develop, write and edit bids and proposals aligned to Kinetic business strategy, market position and branding
- Collaboratively work with Subject Matter Experts to develop compliant bid and proposal responses
- Review bid content to ensure high-quality and compliant submissions
- Assist bid teams to effectively use bids standard processes, and
- Develop, write and edit bid library documents, including case studies and key personnel CVs.
