Focus of the Role

As a Business Technology Advisor (BTA) at TBTC you will report into the Sales Lead and Centre Lead and provide support to the broader account management team.

This role is for Full-time located in Burwood Office.

What You’ll Do
- Gather relevant sources of information and insights from internal and external stakeholders to provide advice and consultation regarding development of customer solutions.
- Make a strong contribution to the development of compelling proposals, relating to the value proposition for customer offers, while maintaining the protection of Telstra’s commercial interests and ensuring business plans continue to meet company goals.
- Proactively engage with cross-functional teams to participate in or advise on commercial / solution requirements, assist in new solution introduction, development, management and release activities.
- Provide expert guidance on the effective use of technology and solutions in order to achieve business outcomes in alignment with business requirements.
- Support the broader TBTC Account management team with technical support and knowledge
- Meet individual and team sales and performance KPIs.

About You
- Previous experience working in a TBTC as a technology advisor or other relates sales roles within Telstra with ability to deliver simplex and complex sales.
- Proven sales experience working in fast paced SAAS and Technology industry.
- High levels of contracts negotiation and pricing skills
- Highly analytical with advanced reporting skills
- Key interest in ICT and the future technology landscape
- Multitask who can adapt to a variety of scenarios and situations.
- Exceptional internal and external stakeholder management skills
- High levels of written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
- Embrace, adopt and utilize Telstra tools and technology to enable better business processes.
- Demonstrated commitment to relationship building and working in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, engagement and presentation skills
- Understand the impact of your role and will think out of the box to deliver results.
- Show initiative, enthusiasm and pride in work and display resilience in a change environment.
