Role Summary:
**Manager -Sales (APAC)**

**CHC Helicopter** is a leader in the provision of helicopter support to the offshore energy market, search & rescue and government departments, as well as organizations requiring helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul services through its Heli-One division.

**CHC Helicopter Australia** is looking for an experienced** Manager **who will be an integral part of the APAC commercial sales team. The role will be based in Perth, reporting to the Global Vice President, Sales based in Dallas. This role is responsible for providing sales and client liaison support to its Asia Pacific customers, focussing on support to existing operations and growing our presence in the region.

This role has the primary purpose of driving CHC’s performance through high quality sales strategy and client relationship partnering.

**Role Summary**

The
**Manager -Sales (APAC)** holds responsibility for developing and executing the sales and market strategy in the designated portfolio and is accountable for achievement of business sales goals and targets. Reporting to and working with the Global Sales Leader, the role collaborates across various internal departments and discipline specialists in order to build and commercialise innovative and competitive service options for our customers, ensuring their ongoing success, as well as that of the Company.

- ** Sales Targets**:Development and execution of sales strategies and actions to achieve organisational budget and growth targets;

- ** Team Leadership**: Development and mentoring of sales team members;
- ** Client Liaison**: Client acquisition, development and maintenance of current customer relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for current and new clientele;
- ** Compliance**:Ensuring compliance to organisational policy, structures, process and procedures;
- ** Performance Metrics and Portfolio Management**: Creating sales plans, budgets, forecasting sales projections, using market analysis and insights, product knowledge and preparation of proposals to internal management and for clients;
- ** Contract Negotiation**:Principal lead in drafting of commercially sensitive contracts and responsible for negotiating terms that are mutually beneficial for the client relationship;
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contracts, Marketing, Sales, Business Development or Commercial Law;
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales within the aviation or oil & gas field services industry especially marketing and selling services is highly desirable;
- Demonstrated experience in Sales and business plan execution and ability to solicit and secure business from existing and new customers;
- Experience with drafting contracts, tender submissions and negotiations;
- Excellent commercial and business acumen, positively influencing the cost, profit and cash flow drivers on a deal’s profit;
- Experience in maintaining effective processes to improve sales bids and support services to ensure accurate inputs are submitted within commercial tender submission schedules;
- Proven history of maintaining relationships with customers and ability to lobby stakeholders and customers;
- Demonstrated success in the strategic planning with extensive experience in negotiating and change management;
- Experience in motivating cross-functional teams to produce quality service delivery within tight time frames, while also managing multiple bids on a simultaneous basis;
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills that facilitate success in a matrix organisation;
