Our team is growing Excellent opportunity for a Sales Account Manager - Acquisition to join our Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) ANZ business to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral economy by managing all allocated new business opportunities and therefore achieving gross margin or activity targets from the sale of these contracts to businesses in the B2B energy market.

You will work closely with the Sales Account Managers, Operations, Performance Management and Commercial Sales Solutions teams to successfully acquire new business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver business targets by managing allocated electricity supply customer acquisition opportunities to achieve gross margin and/or activity targets
- Maintain business integrity by ensuring commercial integrity of all implemented contracts, delivering key contract obligations for each customer, ensuring operational integrity of each agreement, working closely with the billing and operations team
- Develop and proactively manage customer and TPI relationships ensuring consistent and dedicated communications between Engie and the customer
- Contribute towards ongoing improvement initiatives with an aim to reduce costs to acquire and cost to serve, and increase conversion/retention rates
- Maintain customer information in various sales databases as required
- Manage accurate customer data, maintaining regulatory policy and financial integrity within the set company strategy

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will have a solid sales experience, preferably in the energy sector in Australia.

You will also have:

- Ability to understand and interpret complex commercial contracts
- Experience in customer service and/or complaints handling
- Applied problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management
- Ability to clearly explain and define issues / desired outcomes

**The Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) business unit** is the fully integrated trading arm of the ENGIE Group. GEMS teams manage a large and highly diversified energy portfolio, including electricity, natural gas, biomass, LNG and other fuels, CO2 and environmental products, and provide a range of trading risk management solutions to all types of market participants in Europe, Asia Pacific and in the Americas. GEMS manages the B2B supply business within ENGIE, including supply contracts and Power Purchase Agreements.

Within the GEMS Business Unit, the **Australia and New Zealand Business Platform (BP ANZ**) are managing and developing the group’s trading activities for these regions around 4 main pillars: risk management and market access, asset management, green solutions and energy supply businesses.
