Innovation is at the heart of how the PTC team works, seeking to continuously improve what ANZ’s people can achieve, as the bank delivers its strategic business priorities.

We have a portfolio of new and complex projects and this has resulted in the opportunity for experienced Senior Managers and Managers to join us and get stuck in and help with delivery of our people projects, whilst building the capability of a highly capable team of internal consulting professionals. The work is fascinating and challenging, but also rewarding, as we look to shape our workforce.

These would be great roles for people with a management consulting background looking to move into one of Australia’s biggest corporations.

What's your mission?

You will be helping to shape our future organisation by leading a team to design and deliver diverse, large scale people initiatives. No two days will be the same and your work could involve getting stuck into operating model & organisational design programs, restructures & offshoring or, managing people initiatives arising from mergers, acquisitions and divestments.

You will also work to grow our people’s capability both within your chapter and more broadly across PTC through experiential and formal learning.

What will your day look like

As a Manager, Workforce Transformation & Consulting (PTC), you will:

- Learn, innovate, experiment everyday - because underpinning everything we do is a growth mindset
- Engage business leaders to understand the rationale for change and root cause of what they are trying to achieve
- Collaborate with your team and across the bank to design and execute solutions that have the employee experience front and centre
- Support your business throughout change to minimise potential risks and advise them on workforce matters
- Coach and support PTC team members both on and off programs and encourage knowledge sharing across the team
- Coach, develop and mentor your chapter, investing in capability build to help achieve future aspirations

And you can forget the suit stereotype of a bank - At ANZ we encourage people to dress for their day.

What will you bring?

- Experience leading large, complex workforce transformation programs (i.e. operating model, organisational design, off-shoring, restructure, transactions activity), from scoping through to delivery
- Ability to upskill and invest in team members’ development and growth through a combination of formal and structured experiential learning opportunities
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and the confidence to challenge them when they need it
- Empathy and an ability to provide shared clarity to your team to support them in delivering projects
- Being comfortable with ambiguity and being able to adapt in a constantly evolving environment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a global team environment and coaching and developing others
