**About The Role**

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team in Cheltenham.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the key responsibilities of the role will include:

- Ensuring supplier invoices are processed on time and accurately as per the company guidelines
- Managing all supplier correspondence and following up with internal stakeholders as required
- Reviewing all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Completing supplier statement reconciliations monthly to ensure data integrity of the sub ledger
- Preparing monthly ageing creditors report and follow up on any outstanding items
- Setting up the weekly/monthly banking upload files, international payments and BPay with supporting documents
- Providing guidance and assistance to co-workers in Victoria and interstate sites to ensure correct procedures are followed
- Maintaining an accurate and current supplier master database in the ERP system

**About You**
- A minimum of 2 years experience as Accounts Payable Officer
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation.
- Flexible with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Has a positive approach and attitude, shows high levels of initiative and enthusiasm.
