Cheltenham, Australia Japan Marine Engineering Full time

Japan Marine Engineering is a Marine Engineering company located in Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs, and for over 36 years has been a major supplier of spare parts and capital equipment to the marine industry in Australia and overseas.

We are looking to appoint a proactive, process and improvement driven Accounts & Administration Officer to take on this important and broad role.

**Management of Accounts Payable**
- Process invoices for payment
- Liaising with FX Agency
- Bank & Credit Card reconciliation

**Management of Accounts Receivable**
- Process and issue invoices to clients as per purchase order
- Maintain Debtors reporting and debt collection
- Reconcile payments
- Bank reconciliation

**Payroll**
- Monthly & Fortnightly Payroll
- Lodgement & Payment Superannuation
- Lodgement & Payment of PAYG
- Work Cover Evaluation and submission
- Lodgement of STP Reporting

**General Finance**
- Quarterly BAS
- Monthly PAYG Activity Statement
- Provide Financial and Administrative support to Sales & Logistics teams
- Management of MyGov Business Portal
- Monthly, Quarterly & Year reporting when required
- Debtors, P&L, Balance Sheet, Liability Reporting, Sales Reports
- EOFY Close Out and Accountant Preparation

**Administration**
- Assistance to Director & General Manager when required
- Insurance, CoC and WorkCover Remunerations
- Filing & Answering phones
- A capable thinker and work well under pressure
- Will have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships, as well as ability to work autonomously
- Strong attention to detail
- 4+ years experience in an Accounts Role
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Reckon Accounts experience highly desirable
- Good Knowledge of Accounting systems
- Full time, permanent position

**This is a Full time role at our Cheltenham Office location for the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.**
