The National Program Manager is an integral member of the team, with a leadership and coordinating role, planning, managing and having oversight, delivering on the WHRTN objectives as outlined in the government funded network agreement. The appointee reports to the lead investigator with accountability for grant delivery as the Executive Director of the lead Centre, Monash Partners and the chair of the network and in consultation with the WHRTN, subcommittee chairs, and lead investigator, plan and manage the WHRTN program as allocated.

We engage across 95% of Australia’s academic and research teams, 80% of acute health services and have increasing reach into primary care and regional and rural areas. **About the Women’s Health Research Translation Network**

WHRTN is a broad national collaboration of multidisciplinary international leaders in women’s health, nominated by NHMRC-accredited Centres nationally. With our broad geographical spread and stakeholder engagement, along with national co-ordination through AHRA, we provide a unique opportunity for rapid priority setting and addressing and advancing delivery in these areas through research and translation. Monash Partners is the administering and leading AHRA Centre in the WHRTN.

**About the Role**

This role will manage WHRTN and the committees to improve and evaluate the Strategy/Activity Plan and generate new opportunities.

The Key Result Areas comprise:

- Ensure timelines and deliverables are met, in accordance with funding body’s requirements and that risks are considered and mitigated.
- Ensure governance is transparent and robust.
- Ensure effective consumer and stakeholder involvement.
- Support the Steering Committee, Chair and AHRA committee representative and the subcommittees.
- Manage the WHRTN team and ensure deliverables are met on time and on budget
- Plan and manage events and special initiatives.
- Support advocacy activities and optimise communication internally and externally.
- Prepare and disseminate reports to committees and funders.
- Monitor fiscal performance
- Enable new opportunities

**About You**

**What you need**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Demonstrated ability and experience in project management and large scale collaboration
- Advanced level of report writing, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google Apps and internet/intranet.
