**About the company**

Department for Education, Family Day Care (FDC), is a home-based childcare and education service run by qualified educators and has been operating for more than 40 years. Located in Elizabeth and Flinders Park, their educators work together to provide best-practice education and care to enable, nurture, challenge and promote children.

**About the roles**

**Duties**
- Work with small business owners to provide advice and assistance on delivering a quality home based childcare program
- Coach and mentor others to achieve specific outcomes in changing environments
- Observe, analyse, report & evaluate childcare practice against defined criteria

**Skills & experience**
- Diploma level qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care as a minimum
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
- Working knowledge of the National Quality Standards
- Experience in delivering Children’s Services or related field
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Experience communicating with a range of people including individuals, small groups, and community organisations
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, assessment systems, appropriate standards and quality indicators for young children
- Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to promoting and creating a safe and inclusive environment; and the legislative requirements of Equal Opportunity an WHS legislation
