Executive Assistant to General Manager

This is a very good opportunity to work with a well respected and reputable insurance builder as an Insurance Management Assistant.
The key function of the role is to provide support and guidance to clients, keeping them updated on claims and progress, deal with customer queries and direct them to appropriate team members, enter new claims and assist management with general day to day activities.
**You will need to**:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders by phone or in person
- Support the claim audit process, review claim details for the business and relevant insurance company portals to provide management with a summary of improvements and issues
- Support the claim audit process
- Assist with developing and implementing procedures, detailing the life cycle of claims and steps to manage them
- Attend management meetings, take minutes and distribute to relevant parties and follow up on action items
- Monitor the trade portal ensuring documentation has been provided by contractors and documentation is current
- Calculate and document complex transactions
- Ensure all trade contractors have completed training requirements of clients
A critical component is to maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers in every interaction and have the ability to remain calm and understanding with customer and client interaction. **Ideally you will have experience with**:
- Answering incoming calls, listening attentively to fully understand the caller’s enquiry and directing the call to the most appropriate people
- Using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Maps and/or similar
- Coordinate trade functions, information events including invitations, management of attendee lists, liaison with venues, follow ups, catering and record of attendance.
- Working within the insurance or construction space
- Working as an EA and have a broad skillset in office management
