**The opportunity**

**Who we are looking for**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic OSHC Assistant Coordinator to join our Kids United OSHC team who can work a variety of hours Monday to Fridays during school terms. School holiday availability is also desirable for our vacation care services.

**Hours of operation**:
Before School Care: 6:30am-8:30am

After school care: 2:30pm-6:30pm

Vacation care: 6:30am-6:30pm

**As an OSHC 2IC at Kids United OSHC, your role will include**
- Assisting in the delivery of a high quality, educational, safe and fun program
- Provide programs which align with the framework ‘My Time Our Place’
- Communication and engagement with children, families and other team members in a positive, productive and respectful manner
- Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
- Support the development of children
- Ability to support administration
- Supervision of children
- Light cleaning duties
- Preparation of breakfast and afternoon tea
- Attendance at monthly staff meetings

**Essential Requirements**
- Must be available to work 4 afternoon shifts
- A valid WWCC check
- Willingness to sign on as a Responsbile Person and Educational Leader
- Willing and able to work, sometimes with little notice
- Willingness to learn
- Valid Working with Children Check for paid employment
- First Aid certificate (including CPR, anaphylaxis & asthma management and emergency first aid response in an education and care setting) or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Ability to work effectively as a team
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, parents and staff

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $27.31 - $34.97 per hour
