**About You**:
As a Customer Service Officer, you will directly to the Operations Manager and involve in providing excellent customer service and administrative skills. As a basis you will ensure effective allocation of appropriate drivers and vehicles to align with customer bookings and requirements, creating operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

You will be required to observe risk management principles in every aspect of your work and may be required to manage the after-hours phone outside of work hours.

**Days / Hours**:Monday - Friday / 8:00am - 4:00pm
**Employment Status**: Permanent

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently allocate drivers and vehicles to align with customer bookings and requirements.
- Collaborate with the team for a smooth transition to a new software system.
- Analyse data to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Optimise vehicle and driver allocation for maximum fleet utilisation and cost efficiency.
- Provide exemplary service to customers, resolving scheduling and despatch issues promptly.
- Liaise with internal teams and customers to ensure seamless communication.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Proven experience in customer service and operations analysis, preferably in transportation or logistics.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of transport, route, or scheduling management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and IT skills.
- Current driver’s license.

**Additionally, if you have**
- Knowledge of the community not-for-profit sector and general customer needs.
- Familiarity with Routematch software or similar tools.
- Understanding of legislation, industry standards, and best practices.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
