Strategic Planning Officer

**The City is looking for an enthusiastic Planner to join its Strategic Planning Team. We are open to flexible work arrangements, including periods of working from home. This is not an entry-level position. To be successful in the role you will have a willingness to undertake a broad range of planning work in a time efficient manner and within an (at times) high pressure environment.
The full-time contract is to cover maternity leave, with the potential opportunity to discuss future job share opportunities.
**The Person**:
- Degree in Urban and Regional Planning
- Previous strategic planning experience (preferably within a growth council)
- Strong Urban Design skills
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly developed report-writing skills
- Experience in the preparation and/or review of Local Scheme Amendments and Structure Plans will be highly regarded.
**Salary**: $82,721 - $96,116 per annum depending on skills and experience
