**Duration of the training program: 12 months from 3/2/25 up to 1/2/26**

**Term of the Contract: 3 Years in line with clause 52 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement**

**At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3 year contract.**

**About the role**
- Member of the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery team actively involved in the roster for timely assessment of patients who present to the emergency department or who are referred from other hospitals or from general practitioners in the community with acute Plastic Surgery conditions.
- Member of the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery team responsible for the timely assessment of inpatient referrals from other specialist units.
- The doctor will have allocated outpatient and supervised theatre responsibilities.
- Active member of the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery team in ensuring the safe, efficient and well documented management of Plastic Surgery inpatients at TQEH.
- Actively contributes to the continuous quality improvement and continuous education activities.

**Qualifications**

MBBS or equivalent degree registerable with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
