**About The Role**
Due to a promotion within the team, we are looking for a **Payroll Specialist** to join the team.
You will be responsible for:
- End to end weekly payroll processing Payroll for complex sites
- Understanding and Interpretation of awards and EBA’s
- Advanced excel skills for payroll reconciliations and averaging calculations.
- Complicated pay adjustments and back pays/ invoice reconciliations as requested.
- Trouble shooting payroll queries from various sources
- Supporting Payroll Team members with advice and training around their allocated payrolls
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will be a strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business at all levels. You will be career focused with the drive to take on further opportunities and challenges as they rise.
You will also have:
- Preferably have 3+ years experience in Payroll
- Ability to understand and interpret awards
- An aptitude for working with bulk data
- Accuracy and a keen eye for detail which your referees will attest to
- Demonstrated proven experience operating in high volume employee payroll
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High competence with Microsoft Office and payroll systems
