We currently have an exciting role for you to lead our Passive Reserves Team. City of PAE is committed to preserving and enhancing our natural environments. Our Passive Reserves team plays a crucial role in maintaining and managing our green spaces, ensuring they are safe, accessible, and sustainable for all community members. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join us in this mission.

**Key responsibilities of the position include**:

- Responsible for providing specialist advice and leadership to the Reserve maintenance teams (20+ staff)
- Responsible for managing the maintenance of Council’s 300+ recreational reserves
- Sets outcomes for the work area prioritising and allocating work across teams to deliver Section plan objectives and meet customer demand
- Responsible for managing an annual reserve maintenance budget exceeding $9 million

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Diploma of Management or similar is highly desirable
- A Cert IV qualification in Horticulture is essential
- Experience in a leadership position in a multifaceted organisation
- Experience in Parks and Gardens reserve maintenance, together with proven experience in supervision of staff and contractors

This is a Level 7 position which has a current salary range of $ 120,483 - $ 128,062 (plus Super).
