Horticulturist - Biodiversity and Urban Greening

**Key responsibilities of the position include**:

- Works with the tree planting Group Leader to implement the tree establishment program
- Assists with leading the daily activities of the tree planting team which could include, scoping of pre-planting works, arranging of planting resources and materials, tree planting and tree watering programs
- Participates in the maintenance of Biodiversity reserves and feature streetscapes, to ensure that ‘Open Space’ areas are well presented for the enjoyment of our community
- Maintains City of Port Adelaide Enfield’s street tree assets, streetscapes and natural reserve areas

**The successful applicant will have**:

- AQF Certificate III in Horticulture **or** AQF Certificate III Conservation and Ecosystem Management is essential
- MR Truck license (or willingness to obtain in 3 months)
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role

This is a Grade 5-6 position which has a current salary range of $81,231 - $82,256 (plus Super).
