Junior Finance/invoicing Clerk

Intensive Care at Home is looking for a Junior Finance/Invoicing Clerk to become a key cross-functional member of our passionate and dedicated finance team within a high growth company.
**Intensive Care at Home is** a specialised niche Intensive Home Care Nursing service provider, providing Quality of Life and/or Quality of-end-of Life for long
- term mechanically ventilated Adults & Children with Tracheostomy and their Families.
You will have the opportunity to assist and further your knowledge in all areas of business finance while reporting directly to the operations manager. You will be liaising with staff and external stakeholders on a regular basis. You will also provide administrative support to the operations manager and assist in maintaining internal controls & procedures that adhere to best practises. You must have the ability to function under pressure. Must be able to use your own initiative and have problem-solving skills to find solutions to everyday challenges.
**The Junior Finance/Invoicing Clerk role at Intensive Care at Home is detailed below; it will be varied and may include, but not be limited to**:
- Invoicing
- Remittances
- Assisting with timesheets managed & checked
- Assist with recons and bank recon queries
- Follow up overdue invoices
- Prepare Super payments
- Assist with preparing superannuation submissions
- Posting journal entries into Xero
- Assists in preparing various financial reports for management as and when required
- Assists in the tracking of employee annual and sick leave, as well as the entry of employee hours into the payroll system.
- Assists in the management of the payroll system and the processing of pay checks in accordance with the set pay cycle in Xero.
**Required Skills & Experience**:
- Attention to fine detail is a must
- Experienced in Microsoft Excel
- Basic financial understanding
- Some knowledge / skills in Xero
- Deadline driven, dedicated, detailed, and results orientated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
