**Your new company**
Our client is an aged care facility that is run by a Local Council in the Illawarra.
**Your new role**
The team is after an administrator to work full time hours Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5pm.
Experience in Administration in an Aged Care/Support facility and supporting Volunteers and/or Support Workers would be beneficial to this role.
The duties will include at least some of the following:
- Provide the first point of entry for incoming calls for Blue Haven.
- Answer the telephone and provide information to clients, service providers, support staff, volunteers and relevant others.
- Provide information on the service and other services available to people seeking such information.
- Maintain the financial and client databases.
- Banking and receipting of money
- Maintain the accounting database and prepare accurate monthly client accounts.
- Generate online requisitions for approval by Facilitator within delegated authority
- Maintain support worker and volunteer databases for compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and the NSW Disability Standards and legislative requirements.
- Obtain advice and quotes from contractors regarding service availability and organise service delivery as required
- Broker appropriate services on behalf of clients as instructed by the Facilitator when required.
- Provide transport -booking services to clients
