My client is a very successful, well-established and stable company who provide a range of environmental consultancy services across Flora and Fauna to clients in the Mining & Resources, Infrastructure and Land Development sectors.
They are currently looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced General Manager to oversee and grow the business in 2023 and beyond.
The role will cover all aspects including overseeing the Accounts function, Company Systems and processes, HR and People Management, Safety, Operations and Client Management
It would suit an experienced General Manager with either an environmental background or an understanding of the environment, water or engineering consulting industries.
- Perth based, with Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- Previous experience in providing management to a company of around 20 - 100 people including involvement in Financials, Systems and processes, HR/People, Workload planning, Safety and Clients
- Ideally a relevant Tertiary qualification or background / understanding of consulting for the Environmental, Engineering, Water sector or similar
- People Management experience with a supportive approach.
- Good Safety focus / WHS Focus (Cert IV in safety would be regarded)
- Commercial acumen and ability to manage PL / Cashflow with assistance from Book keeper and external accountant
- Ability to expand and modify existing systems and processes which already have good existing templates and procedures in place
- Strategic planning background and experience in running and growing business / setting and delivering plan / Targets and Goals
- Forward planning for workloads and staffing levels and the ability to conduct BD if required
- Good interpersonal skills / positive attitude and fit in well with a small friendly team.
- Good ethics and values in keeping with the company ethos
