Our Regulatory team is growing We are seeking a Regulation & Policy Manager to provide expert advice and guidance to business to ensure the implementation of regulatory changes, provide ENGIE ANZ’s response to proposed regulatory changes and recommend strategies to regulatory issues to mitigate business impacts and promote potential business opportunities.

This role will report to the Head of Regulation, Compliance and Sustainability and can be worked flexibly from the office and home - hybrid work model.

Reasonable requests for part time work will be considered.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in developing and managing the overarching regulatory strategy for ENGIE ANZ, with designated primary responsibility for specific areas of regulation and policy development
- Draft and submit responses to rule changes and market reviews in collaboration with regulatory team members and business units
- Work with business developers and project leads to progress regulatory issues relevant to projects and developments (i.e., transmission strategies, revenue optimisation)
- Assisting the compliance teams with business unit compliance, investigations, and reporting on an ad hoc basis
- Lead and support ENGIE ANZ quality assurance and compliance processes, including managing regulatory and compliance audits, lead compliance process improvement and regulatory change projects, conduct risk assessments and develop and deliver compliance training and instructional documentation

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will have sound experience working in a regulated industry and have knowledge and understanding of regulation and compliance issues, preferably within the energy sector. The incumbent can build networks and communicate effectively as they will be required to represent ENGIE ANZ on, and attend meetings of, industry working groups, committees and other meetings of regulatory bodies.
