About you
As one of our Education Support Officers within our Medical Education Team, you’ll have excellent administration skills, as well as highly developed communication skills, both written and verbally. You’ll be working in a collaboratively and coordinated way with Medical Educators providing consistency to the team. To thrive in these roles, you’ll have:
experience within the education delivery setting.
exceptional communication skills both verbal and written and proven project management skills.
ability to engage professionally with all stakeholders across the college and externally.
excellent time management skills with the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
demonstrated ability to remain calm in busy high paced environments and complex situations with others.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Medical Education Manager, you’ll understand vocational training for GPs and provide consistency to the team. Currently there are three Education Support Officer roles we are looking to place:
Education Support Officer - Australian Defence Force (ADF) and Training Pipeline supporting our National Lead Medical Educators in the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and Training Pipeline area,
Education Support Officer - Core Education, RPLE, Induction and Onboarding supporting our National Lead Medical Educator in the Core Education RPLE, Induction and Onboarding area,
Medical Education Support Officer supporting our Deputy Directors of Training across a range of areas
These roles provide high quality administrative support to our Medical Education teams. In addition, you’ll:
provide high level administration support to the Deputy Directors of Training and National Lead Medical Educators across a range of activities.
consult, liaise, and work with key stakeholders to provide support to the GP Training Medical Education leadership team in achieving initiatives.
under the direction of the Deputy Directors of Training and the Medical Education Manager, lead and coordinate GP Training Medical Education Projects.
assist the National Medical Education Manager with national medical educator team activities ensuring that activity scope is clear, schedules are in place and intended outcomes are achieved.
as required, work with the National Medical Education Manager to coordinate the administration of the national medical educator team including:

- conference and external meeting attendance
- performance reviews
- national education projects
