**About the company**:
Our client is a leading packaging solutions provider in the food and beverage industry around the world. They work in partnership with their customers to bring food and beverage products to consumers around the world in a safe, sustainable, and affordable way.

**The Role**:
The Commercial Account Manager is a home-based role with travel both local and interstate to develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers who are based in VIC, SA, and WA. This role is a conduit link between the Customer and the Business and reports directly to Commercial Director -ANZ.

We are looking for a work ethic and driven personality to help to grow the revenue stream in the key and new accounts.

**Responsibility**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers, customers, and third-party interests, to identify opportunities, threats, and trends.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, within a designated sale territory.
- Represent customers and their views, through internal communication methods, to ensure a full understanding of the customer's explicit requirements is understood.
- Responsible and accountable for agreed revenue and profitability targets.
- Maintain strong alliances with customers and suppliers through ethical and professional practice.
- Communicates professionally and positively between the ANZ Commercial Team and other internal business functions across the organization.
- Plan & Manage customer visits to maximize time, priority, and value efficiency. Is expected to allocate a minimum of 50% of the time to direct customer contact.
- Prepare, manage, and conclude customer supply contracts successfully.
- Report all Commercial communication through SPIN Call plans, reports, and opportunity pipeline matrix, utilization of the CRM system.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations when necessary.

- Experience working in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management in Food & Beverage, or Packaging industry is preferred.
- Experienced and skilled in the areas of Sales, organisation, problem-solving, and negotiation.
- Experience in working with a commercial customer, commercial business, or B2B.
- Able to build and maintain solid relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Able to self-manage to maximise time, priorities, and value efficiency's.
- Able to travel interstate (VIC, SA, WA) or be on the road.
- Flexibility to accommodate 'out of hours' arrangements.
