The role has a direct impact from the corporate environment to giving back into the communities via social programs and activities across QIC. You will be engaging with the Investment Teams, People and Culture, ESG and external community partnerships and clients where we can help build and support prosperity for communities.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference to help drive business decisions through knowledge with the partnerships you build both internally and externally. You might be a Senior Assistant or communications consultant supporting a business leader, an events coordinator who is diligent and organised but has worked across community-based partnerships, or you could be working within Investments and now's the time to turn your knowledge into giving back. Whatever your background, we are looking for someone who is empathetic, passionate about creating change and a person who wants to truly make a difference and be part of something bigger.

**Some of the core responsibilities will include**:

- You will be working in close partnership with the ESG Social Lead to deliver and promote the QIC in the Community program including the annual strategy, governance, external partners and activities aligned with QIC's People & Culture and ESG Strategies and track progress against this.
- You will be responsible for execution of the QIC's Charitable Foundation governance framework ensuring it is following best practice and aligns with QIC's risk appetite.
- You will lead QIC's Community Working Group activities aligned to the QIC in the community strategy including:

- selection process for our charitable partners,
- coordinating community volunteering opportunities, and
- leading ad-hoc workplace giving or appeal programs.
- You will build strong working relationships with charity partners including developing partnership strategies, collecting stories and metrics to measure and share QIC's impact.
- You will collaborate with the internal communication and People & Culture teams to develop and implement an employee communications and engagement plan to promote QIC's programs.

**Preferred capabilities**:

- Experience in a similar ESG, community engagement or social impact role.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. project management, communications, business, human resources, economics, sustainability, social science or related discipline).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to capture stories and tailor the key messages to a variety of audiences.
- Experience managing external partnerships (such as not-for-profits).
- Strong organisational and project management skills and experience.
