What is the role?

The AFP is looking for experienced, enthusiastic and highly organised Executive Assistants to fill current and anticipated vacancies across all portfolios located in ACT.

As a Band 3 Executive Assistant (EA) you will provide support to the AFP Managers and Commanders (SES Band 1).
The Band 4 Executive Assistant (EA) role provides support to AFP National Managers and Assistant Commissioners (SES Band 2).

These roles are fast paced with rigid timelines and requires managing the office environment and prioritising workflow. To succeed in this role you will have great people skills, the ability to anticipate the needs of senior executives and demonstrate flexibility, resilience and initiative.

You will also be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments. It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.

Enjoys helping people and can quickly develop effective relationships with members of the AFP executive and their support staff.
