**About the role**

icare is looking for an experienced Chapter Lead Product Owner who will sit within the Continuous Improvement Tribe ensuring the backlog is aligned to the Tribe’s mission to deliver bite sized improvements and enhancements to customers. The Chapter Lead contributes to the strategic cultural evolution to agility by displaying mature agile practices. Working in connection with delivery Squads and the associated Product Owners, they build understanding and positive experience for colleagues who are new to agility - explaining the Product Owner’s role and the agility way of working.

**Your story so far**:

- You’re a customer centric thinker with an understanding of business + customer value created through incremental development of customer products/services/experiences.
- You’re a problem solver in complex environments, with a tendency toward emergent solution design.
- You have well-developed emotional intelligence, with the ability to effectively manage conflicting stakeholder needs and agendas.
- You’re commercially astute: you make decisions using data that produces a backlog of work for viable return on investment delivery, business efficiency, and waste eradication. You’re a master in prioritisation, product road map planning & execution.
- You drive for results and create clarity: you assist people to overcome obstacles with rigour, focusing on topics that matter so that delivery & service performance trends positively.
- Through your curiosity, you positively agitate for change & continuous improvement, acting as a role model for personal situational adaptability.
- You’re a highly motivated and engaging individual with exceptional stakeholder management skills, who listens, consults, and works in close partnership with stakeholders.
- You’re tertiary qualified with industry certifications in product ownership.

**Desirable**
- You have proficiency with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- You’ve led collaborative cross-functional teams (e.g. agile ways of working).
- You may have been a Scrum Master, or customer experience practitioner in the past.
