- Experience using Genie software (preferred).
- Experience managing patient bookings for consultation.
- Work in an extremely busy specialist surgical practice.
- Ability to prioritise and multitask.
- Demonstrate & articulate friendly customer service with an understanding of the importance of client confidentiality.
- Highly organised and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Computer skills.
- Be capable of working very well as part of a team or autonomously.
- Manage incoming & outgoing correspondence.
- Great communication & interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
- Knowledge of Medicare items
- Maintain professional attire standards.

**Your duties will include**:

- Answer the telephone in a courteous and professional manner.
- Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally, and electronically.
- Make, altar, and confirm appointments.
- Management of Genie medical software.
- Account Management - consult billing and receipting.
- Schedule theatre lists
- Prepare and receipt theatre accounts.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Deal with patients and their families.
- Liaise with surgeons and other health professionals.
- Scan and file documents.
- Practice duty of care including meeting practice standards and accountability.
- Always maintain patient and practice confidentiality.
- Any other administrative duties as directed by the Practice Manager.
