We are looking for Property Managers in Canberra locations.

Role Responsibilities:

- Property Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet the needs of tenants and owners.
- Tenant Relations: Act as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing their concerns, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Lease Administration: Prepare and execute lease agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Handle lease renewals, terminations, and rent adjustments.
- Rent Collection: Monitor rent payments, send rent reminders, and follow up on late payments. Initiate legal actions if necessary.
- Property Maintenance: Coordinate and supervise repairs, maintenance, and renovations. Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
- Advertising and Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants. Advertise vacancies, conduct property showings, and screen prospective tenants.
- Financial Management: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including budgets, income statements, and expense reports. Monitor and control property-related expenses.
- Legal Compliance: Stay updated on relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards. Ensure properties comply with all legal requirements, such as safety regulations, accessibility standards, and fair housing laws.
- Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess their condition, identify any issues, and ensure adherence to lease terms and property standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of property-related documents, such as leases, inspection reports, maintenance records, and tenant communication.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Source and manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for property maintenance, repairs, and other required services.
- Dispute Resolution: Mediate and resolve conflicts between tenants and owners, handling disputes in a fair and professional manner.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on property performance, occupancy rates, rental income, and expenses. Provide insights and recommendations for improving property profitability.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to properties, tenants, and owners. Implement appropriate security measures and insurance coverage.
- Professional Development: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Maintain relevant licenses and certifications.
