Impairment Benefits Specialist

**About the role**
The Impairment Benefits Specialist is to manage the end-to-end impairment determination process for injured workers in accordance with legislative requirements.

**To be successful in this role you will have:**
- Problem Solving and Decision Making - strong analytical and reasoning skills
- Negotiation & Influencing
- Communication skills - both verbal and written
- Work Management - organisational and time management skills
- Customer Service
**Required Expertise**
- Comprehensive training program AMA4 run by Work Safe Victoria.
- At least two years' claims management experience or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in dealing with the legal profession.
- Extensive knowledge of medical, paramedical terminology and procedures, including the forms of treatment applicable to injury.
- Management of hearing device claims.
