**Purpose of the role**

We are seeking an inquisitive and passionate Retail Application Support Specialist to join our Global Retail Applications team based within our brand new Global Head Office in Collingwood. This role is a 12 month Fixed-Term contract.

You will also be working closely with Aesop Product Managers and Product Teams and take a proactive role in the development of existing systems and new retail developments at Aesop Head Office, Aesop Retail stores, and Aesop online, contributing to administrative efficiencies and the implementation of new processes as required.

**Key responsibilities (not limited to)**

Provide comprehensive 2nd-level support to Aesop’s retail systems:

- Manage incidents, problems and changes through Aesop’s Service Desk system, including management of support tickets escalated to other vendors.
- Working with colleagues, monitor retail system operation, performance and availability, and rectify any issues.
- Develop and maintain a good understanding of key business functions, with a focus on both physical and online retail processes.
- Coordinate external software vendors to perform investigations and assist in providing technical solutions.

Work with users, colleagues and third-parties to identify and deliver improvements to Aesop’s retail systems:

- Assist Product Managers and Retail Application Support Team Lead to research and make recommendations on retail-related software products and services.
- Contribute to Product and Project Teams by managing project deliverables, logging issues, testing, and managing releases using tracking software (Jira).

**What we are looking for**
- Experience maintaining and administering Point of Sale systems, with Cegid experience preferred.
- Experience maintaining and administering retail payment systems.
- Experience with systems-improvement projects including deployment of upgrades or new packaged software solutions.
- Exposure to retail, warehouse and distribution processes, with experience in fashion / apparel / luxury / industries an advantage.
- Strong customer-service orientation.
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
