About the RACGP
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. For more than 60 years, we’ve supported the backbone of Australia’s health system by setting the standards for education and practice and advocating for better health and wellbeing for all Australians.
We foster the future of general practice through our profession-led, community-based training model for the Australian General Practice Training Program and other training pathways. We train GPs to deliver quality, whole-person care to patients across Australia, support their ongoing professional development and provide a point of connection for GPs serving communities in every corner of the country.
About you
As our Professional Development and Learning Specialist, you’ll be a strong communicator who can navigate their audience with confidence and pivot accordingly whilst maintaining a positive, proactive demeanor. Your prior experience working in government / health and or education sectors combined with broad experience in Adult learning principles and facilitating with confidence will see you succeed in this role.
**You’ll also have**:
Strong facilitation skills and the ability to communicate effectively to broad and diverse stakeholders using a range of approaches.
Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to introduce positive change through results and credibility.
Advanced skills using Excel, Word and PowerPoint
About the opportunity
Reporting to our Learning and Development Manager, you’ll play an integral role in planning, developing and delivering the Medical Educator Professional Development Framework for the College as well as leading some learning and development offerings e.g., our Induction passport program, in house LEADership programs, connect and learn sessions to name a few.
**In addition, you’ll**:
Manage partnerships with professional associations to ensure corporate memberships deliver on value.
Liaise with key internal stakeholders on executive of key programs.
Positively influence the organisation broadly to promote and continuous learning culture with responsiveness to employee enquiry paramount.
Provide accurate and timely reporting of pend and efficacy of professional development and learning and development activities for which you are responsible.
